Carefree KAL

The model socks were knit by Samantha F - she's fast as well as a talented knitter!

The greeen sock is in the color design called "fern rainbow" and the other sock is in "tapestry rainbow".
the new soft and wonderful mini-mochi yarn is now being shipped out to various stores so you should be able to find some for yourself soon!

Migrating cables

These hats were a LOT of fun to do. The free pattern is here Swirling cables
Cabling and pretty yarn, and then a wee shift to make the cables dance

it came about b/c my dh wanted a new hat but couldn't choose the colors! so voila - two colors.
of course the hat would be equally lovely and handsome with only one color.
the quasi-bulky Kaya makes this a quick knit and if you too have cold weather a warm hat is just the thing!

inauguration bag

am calling this my inauguration bag ... has peace, love, and hope symbols.
used two slightly contrast colors of KAYA - kaya colors and simple charts. will post pattern shortly once Susan at CPY gets the bag to photo.

not fair

i have a zillion "to do's" and UFO's on my list! in fact we're going to have a UFO-KAL starting jan just to rescue me
and now Susan at CPY has put up a scarf i have to have! now!

the pattern is a free one from CrystalPalaceYarnskidm-mist-lace-scarf and the yarn is one of my faves -seriously soft and cuddley. kid merino - substitutes well for Rowan silk haze.

Pea-Soup for socks??

LOL, the new sock yarn by CrystalPalaceYarns is superwash Panda wool ... and our nickname is Psup. giggle. so in my brain it's delicious and nutritious as well as yummy knitting.
