In my younger years, I spent many wonderful summers in western Ontario,
Canada where my grandparents had a log cabin home on a pristine spring-fed
lake abounding with natural beauty and wonders. Whenever seeing the Maple
Leaf emblazoned on the National Flag of Canada, my memories of those happy
times I spent in Canada resurface. And thus, when offered the opportunity to
design socks as a tribute to my northern neighbors, a maple leaf motif
seemed an obvious choice as a focal element.

For Delaware, I've designed a "toddler trio" as i was so much inspired. Delaware reminds me of my mother, as it was one of the states she talked about a lot.
Mom was a quintessential southern belle, but also loved history, and we had early family here in united states

Oregon Sneak Peek!

I used to live in oregon - during my postdoctoral days at Oregon Graduate Center, which became Oregon Graduate Institute, which merged with Oregon Health Sciences University, and now is about to be "submerged" and defunct.
Anyway, we lived first in Beaverton [home of Nike] and Hillsboro and it was glorious. this was '82 to '90. more rainbows in a month than many places have in years, and the world's best "eating"....
