I love this Taos cropped boxy jacket - already am looking at the various colors of Taos Taos Yarn Card to select my colors.
These are nice views of a pretty new Panda Soy wrister designed by Bianca Becker. Other panda soy colors are here ... and new ones are coming too!

Entry #2 for Sept Blog contest

These lovely socks are by DebW, and you can see more details about this woman who knits like the wind at her blog Debi-doodles.

The yarn is the gorgeous new Panda Soy PandaSoyColors in the colorway Stained Glass.

These were the August sock-of-the-month kit at KnitterdotComSockoftheMonthClub and the design is by someone i know. the intent was to use a mini-cable to show off the pretty color changes....

i think the pretty gladiolus makes the socks look even nicer - but i will confess that i just found a nice garden surprise - glads that wintered over in the deep fuchsia/plum of the sock!

ps the pattern is designed for fingering-wt sock yarns, such as Panda Soy, Maizy, Panda Cotton,
and i think Panda Wool and Panda Silk [knitting those now]. You can easily knit it with #2 us needles, or #1.5 depending on what you need for gauge.
remember, babies don't walk! so their socks don't have to be super-dense to stand wear...
just need to be adorable!

............. hmmm. the socks could be plain - the babies are the adorable ones!

Panda Soy Heartstrings

Susan D, owner of Crystal Palace Yarns, has a special treat for you... a new yarn called Panda Soy , which will have it's "official" debut at the upcoming TNNA.

Jackie ES Heartstrings is one of the first to try it out, and has used her marvelous design "Swirling Lace Anklets" (A34) to showcase the yarn.

May news!! New Kits coming!

What do i have OTN: "on the needles"?
I am doing another version of the sock in these exciting new kits!!

These are pics of the NEW Crystal Palace kits called "Crazy8".
This one is Panda Wool, and is my own knit.
This is a picture of Samantha's model in Panda Cotton.
And this is a picture of Beth's knit model also using Panda Wool.

The plan is to make kits with Panda Cotton, Panda Wool, Maizy, and later Panda Soy!!

The kits will include 5 Crystal Palace DPN plus and 1 full skein of the MC, and enough of 4-5 coordinated colors wound off to make ANY woman's size, and a man's small-to-medium size!!

And i promise it is fun fun fun!!

and then this handsome fella! This is Ian in new Panda Soy socks knit by our Alaskan Knit Team member, G'mom Beth! Her daughter, Ian's mom, gave us permission to show off this Cutie! what a smile!!

I think he likes the socks too!

You will find out that the yarn has a wonderful "hand" and feel as fabric. It doesn't feel like cotton, or like Maizy [which i think has a velvety feel]. It is rather silky, and has that nice Bamboo sheen... i think you will love it!

We should have a pretty summer sock to show you some time soon.
