this is a tall toddler also.
just for fun, the heel is twined, working from both ends of the ball. the twining continues through the gusset decreases with checks on heel and vertical stripes on instep. then after gusset changed to horizontal stripes until toe.
very autumnal colors... felt like i was knitting a forest! LOL
