#2 ornament!

we have up a free pattern for a lovely Holiday Ornament, designed by Radka Chamberlain (laceandcables).
Now Cathy Campbell (cathbellknits) has made a 2nd version has been knit, and i wanted you to see it. Note how she flipped background and contrast between the top and the bottom!

Knitting this could be a fun 'lesson' for colorwork stranding too!

new socks in book

Return of the brain .... i've been so focused on the book we're doing for so long that it's kinda like waking up and looking around again!
anyway, these are some socks i designed that you can find in this lovely new book by Lark Press.
editor's named my socks 'Breakfast in Bed'. if you look at another pic you will see Lovebird motif on the top instep.
used Panda Superwash , and you could also use Panda Silk.
i am especially pleased as they're as comfy as they are pretty. [and for once i have 2 matching socks! LOL.... Nancy Bush said all she owns are sock singles!]
